Dr. Pan Hiranpradit was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and has spent her career building a deep, specialized foundation in orthodontic care, with particular focus on both traditional braces and modern clear aligner treatment. Early in her career, she made the decision to move to the United States to further her training, where she was accepted into a competitive fellowship with the Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research, known as CTOR, based in New York City. During her time there, her research centered on non-invasive techniques designed to accelerate orthodontic treatment without compromising results. That research has had a lasting impact on her clinical approach, helping her patients achieve shorter treatment timelines and more predictable, consistent outcomes, even in cases that are more complex than average.
Following her fellowship, Dr. Pan continued her education at New York University, where she completed an international orthodontics program tailored for dentists trained outside the United States, and then went on to complete a full three year orthodontic residency at the same institution. Throughout this period, she refined her clinical skills working directly with braces patients and also earned her official Invisalign certification, adding another layer of expertise to her clear aligner treatment abilities. She officially became a board certified orthodontist in 2021, and in the years since has been proud to provide personalized, patient centered orthodontic care to families and individuals of all ages throughout North Austin.
Dr. Pan completed her dental degree at Chulalongkorn University, the oldest and most respected institution of higher education in Thailand. Situated in central Bangkok and founded in 1917, the university has long been known for strong academics, forward thinking research, and a focus on developing future leaders. It consistently ranks among Asia’s top universities and has a reputation for turning out accomplished professionals across a wide array of disciplines.
Alongside her clinical and academic work, Dr. Pan has remained active in the broader orthodontic community on a global scale. She belongs to the Asia Pacific Dental Students Association (APDSA), a group focused on strengthening dental education, fostering collaboration, and building leadership among the next generation of dental professionals throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Her involvement with APDSA has taken her to international congresses in Taipei, Tokyo, and Bangkok, where she has connected with respected clinicians and fellow professionals, sharing insights on the latest developments and innovations across dentistry and orthodontics.
Dr. Pan’s global outlook grew even further when she was chosen as an exchange student at Seoul National University, one of the most prestigious schools in Asia, an experience that deepened her clinical understanding and gave her a broader view of patient care across cultures.
These international experiences remain part of how she practices today, shaping a perspective that is worldly, culturally aware, and applied thoughtfully to every patient she treats.
She completed this stage of her training at New York University College of Dentistry, and served as a poster presenter at the 91st Congress of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) in Venice, Italy.
